Meet Our Staff
John Bob, DPT, OCSJohn has been a practicing therapist for 10 years. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon in 1988 and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 1998 from the University of Southern California. In 2004, John earned his designation as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist from the American Physical Therapy Association. John's continuing education includes training in contemporary techniques such as Myofascial Release and ASTYM Treatment which allow him to rehabilitate injuries with an early return to function or sports. John has extensive experience in rehabilitation of lower limb amputation prosthetic training, specifically for the goal of return to walking. John is an avid jogger and road bicyclist.
Peter Hohenthaner, DPTPeter received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from California State University Sacramento in 1997. At University of the Pacific he received both his Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2001 and a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2004. Peter's extensive post-professional training includes participation in three long term orthopedic and sports medicine continuation programs. He specializes in the treatment of orthopedic injuries to the back, neck and extremities as well as sports related injuries. Peter also enjoys recreational golfing and fishing.
Rosalia Quiroz Felahy, MPT, DPTRosalia has been a practicing therapist for over 10 years. She received a Master of Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Marymount University. She has worked extensively in the rehabilitation of medical and neurological problems in various settings including acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and outpatient departments. Rosalia provides the opportunity for Spanish speaking clients to receive care from a bilingual provider. Away from work, Rosalia enjoys spending time with her husband and Hannah, Their Great Pyrenees.
Kylie Solis, DPTKylie received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of the Pacific in 2007. She specializes in Orthopedics and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation. She is certified in ASTYM, a soft tissue technique used for patients with tendonitis problems to aid in a faster recovery and return to athletic or daily activities. She seeks out continuing education classes in order to ensure her patients have the latest scientific and evidence based physical therapy interventions. In her spare time Kylie enjoys cooking, cycling, reading, and spending time with her husband and their Labrador, Wasabi.
Michael Ko, DPT, OCS, ATCMichael received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 1998, where he graduated near the top of his class. He is a board certified orthopedic specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. He has stayed active in the education community, taking numerous classes in manual therapy and serving as a credentialed clinical instructor for physical therapy students. He completed his undergraduate degree in Physiology at UCLA, where he also received his Athletic Training Certification in 1995, working with UCLA's athletic program, including the 1993 Rose Bowl football team. He is a certified provider of ASTYM, a soft tissue technique used for patients with tendonitis problems to aid in a faster recovery and return to athletic or daily activities. His background in sports medicine and manual therapy allows him to provide exceptional care to all his patients. He is an avid golfer, and has specialized in the biomechanics of the golf swing.
Jerry Solberg MSPTJerry received his Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Brigham Young University where he was also on the gymnastics team. He received his Physical Therapy Certificate from University of Iowa in 1967 and his Master's degree from University of the Pacific in 1996. After serving in the Air Force as a Physical Therapist during the Vietnam War, he moved to California where his experience has included work in Rehabilitation Centers, Orthopedic Physical Therapy clinic and Home Health. He also taught for 13 years at the University of the Pacific Physical Therapy where he specialized in Kinesiology, Prosthetics, Orthotics and Gait analysis. He also has an interest in TMJ disorders and treatment. Jerry brings a well rounded background in Physical Therapy to Pine Street Physical Therapy. His interests include hiking, biking, skiing, golf and wood working. Jerry is also a professional musician.
Sarah Blessinger, OTR, CHTSarah received a BA in psychology in 1991 from Indiana University and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Indianapolis in 1997. She has been practicing in the area of hand therapy for over 10 years. In 2003, Sarah received the credential of Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). She enjoys the challenge of treating a variety of upper extremity diagnoses resulting from traumatic accidents, work injuries, congenital and disease processes. Sarah remains current in her field by reading the Journal of Hand Therapy and attending continuing education courses. She is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapy and organizes a local Hand Study Group which meets monthly to discuss current trends, splinting techniques, and best treatment practices. She looks forward to serving you, both the patient and the physician, in functional restoration of the hand and upper body.
Kevin Lane, MSPTKevin's undergraduate course of study was in Exercise Physiology at California State University, Fresno. He completed his Graduate degree in Physical Therapy in 1995 at University of the Pacific in Stockton. Kevin utilizes a mixture of manual therapy techniques, exercise based approaches, and patient education to help clients understand and manage their conditions independently. Kevin's continuing education has focused on a variety of orthopedic manual therapy techniques aimed at addressing the problems common in the general outpatient orthopedic clinical setting. He has also studied golf biomechanics to help injured golfers rehabilitate from injury and enhance performance. Kevin enjoys golf, fishing, hunting, gardening, and spending time with his family and 2 Labrador Retrievers. |
